What Relingo is

An educational app about religion. It explains faiths; it doesn’t tell you what to believe.

Relingo teaches about the world’s religions through short lessons, questions and practices. We describe what different traditions and people believe, and say where they disagree. Nothing on Relingo is a religious ruling, spiritual direction, or professional advice of any kind. For guidance on your own practice, speak to someone you trust within your tradition.

We work hard to be accurate, neutral and well sourced, but we can make mistakes. If you spot one, please tell us at support@relingo.app.

Your account

• You must be at least 13 to use Relingo.
• Keep your sign-in method secure. You’re responsible for activity on your account.
• You can stop using Relingo and ask us to delete your account at any time.

Using Relingo respectfully

Relingo is a place to understand each other. Please keep it that way.

You agree not to:

• use Relingo to harass, demean or spread hatred about any faith, group or person;
• try to access other people’s data, or break or overload the service;
• scrape, copy or resell our lessons or other content without permission;
• use Relingo for anything unlawful.

We may suspend accounts that break these rules.

Your content

Anything you write in Relingo, such as reflections, stays yours. You give us permission to store it and show it back to you so the app works. Reflections are private to you, and we never use them to train AI models. See our privacy policy for details.

Our content

Lessons, illustrations, the Relingo name and logo, and the app itself belong to Relingo or our licensors. Quotations from religious texts are used for education and attributed to their sources. You may share links and short quotes, but not copy or republish our content wholesale.

Paid features

Relingo is free to start. If we offer paid features in future, we’ll show the price and terms clearly before you pay, and you’ll be able to cancel.

Changes and availability

Relingo is new and changing quickly. We may add, change or remove features. If we change these terms in a way that matters, we’ll update the date above and let you know.

Disclaimers and liability

Relingo is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we don’t guarantee it will always be available or error-free, and we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses from using it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can’t be waived.
